BISMARK RANGER STATION BARN RESTORATION

The Priest Lake Museum is excited to add the restoration of the Bismark Ranger Station Barn to their list of restoration projects.  They are partnering with the Forest Service, Idaho Heritage Trust, Brent Morse of Sawtooth Log Homes and Damon Bretthauer of Northern Lakes Tree Service to get this big job completed.  The Museum Barn Committee is looking for any photos that you may have of the exterior or interior of the Barn, which was built in 1919.  They are also looking for the nameplates (or photos of the nameplates) that were on each stall indicating where the Mule or Horse was stabled.  The Museum and the Forest Service are very excited to help restore this important piece of Priest Lake history for community enjoyment.  If you have any questions about this project or would like to donate your time and/or provide monetary support for the Barn's restoration, please email kristenwinn@comcast.net
