PRIEST LAKE — Stakeholder feedback has prompted a revision to the drawdown plan for Priest Lake, according to officials with the Idaho Department of Water Resources.

As a result, the fall drawdown of water flowing through the dam, which began Oct. 1, will be capped at 1,500 cubic feet per second — up from the previously announced 1,000 cfs. As of Oct. 8, the lake level was 2.57 feet; a year earlier, it was 2.1 feet.

In the past, lake water was released all at once during the drawdown. However, concerns led to a change in that approach this year. CLICK HERE for CDAPress article.
