PRIEST LAKE SPORTMAN'S CLUB

Priest Lake Community,

Priest Lake Sportsman’s Club is seeking individuals to become Board Members and key positions in the club. Due to tragic happenings in the last couple years the club has lost several key members and as well folks have retired from the club or would like to. The Priest Lake Sportsman’s Club has a strong voice in any fishing or hunting proposals that may affect the local community. The club is also a key part of the Priest Lake Fishing Derby held at the Priest Lake Golf Course. The club used to do pancake breakfast at the Spring Festival in Coolin and an annual Big Horn Auction in December at Nordman. The Priest Lake Sportsman’s Club also has partnered with the Idaho Fish and Game for fish counts and projects to help Priest Lake fisheries. The club has partnered with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and US Forest Service to help with prescribed burning to benefit wildlife in the Priest Lake basin. The Priest Lake Sportsman’s club has done many other projects to help support hunting and fishing in the Priest Lake Basin. If the club doesn’t attract new members, the club more than likely be disbanding. If you would like to be part of a great club that does prominent work in our community, please join the Priest Lake Sportsman’s Club for their monthly meeting on this March 8th at 7 P.M. at the Outlet Bay Sewer Building (149 Outlet Bay Rd Priest Lake, ID 83856).

Sincerely,

Vice President

Waylon Meek
