Idaho Department of Lands to Perform Road Work

East Shore Road Improvements

Canoe Point to Lionhead State Park

May 31st – July 1st

The Idaho Department of Lands will be performing road work on East Shore Road from the end of the pavement (Canoe Point area) to Lionhead State Park. Road improvements will include: 9 culvert installations, 1 French-drain installation, and 2.5 miles of surface replacement.

The drainage improvements will require occasional road closure and surfacing will require lane closures. Drainage installations will occur in the mornings and may cause delays. Long delays or detours may be required and will be posted onsite a day in advance. Work is expected to last 3 to 4 weeks. The IDL appreciates the cooperation and patience of motorists that use this roadway, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Motorists are strongly advised to slow down through the work area and use caution, as the road maybe rough. For questions regarding this construction, please contact the Idaho Department of Lands at 208-443-2516.
